Therapy focuses on your needs.
My mission in therapy is to provide a safe place for you to be open and vulnerable as you work toward your goals. I offer a judgment-free environment to allow you the freedom to work through your challenges. My role is to support you as you develop the tools to achieve your desired life.
In therapy, together, we will work on defining your goals. You will learn how to tap into your strengths to create the life you want. Therapy is a place where you learn to deal with problems without the fear of judgment or failure. Each therapeutic session is tailored to your needs and goals. You’ll have someone who will listen to your concerns and help you find the best solution.
Together, we will use research-proven techniques to help you achieve your goals. However, we know that one size does not fit all. Because of that, we will work together to customize the work we do in therapy to meet your needs in a way that will benefit you the most.
The goal is to help you achieve the best life possible.
The therapy process can be painful and scary, but working with someone you trust can be incredibly rewarding and freeing. Therapy is a journey of self-exploration, where you gain the confidence and tools to live the life you deserve.
I look forward to becoming your companion on this journey of self-exploration.
About Stacey Youngblood, MS, LMFT
Experience has made me a better therapist.
I know what it’s like to overcome fear and adversity. Being married to a first responder for over 20 years has taught me what it is like to experience tension and uncertainty while trusting in his ability to stay safe.
As a parent, I know what it is like to go through life’s stages – from birth to empty nester. More importantly, life has taught me the importance of having someone you can trust in your corner. Let me be that person for you.
Becoming a therapist is a process.
I’ve been a therapist for over 14 years. I received a bachelor’s in psychology focusing on child development and a master’s in marriage and family therapy.
I have worked for organizations that have specialized in juvenile sex trafficking, prisoner reentry, homelessness, foster care, Christian counseling, and career planning. Through my years of working in mental health and working with so many different populations, I’ve learned that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all method.
I primarily use Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Relational Therapy. However, I use techniques based on what each individual client needs at the moment.
Here is a little about my life outside of therapy.
I’ve been a lifelong animal lover. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. I have tried to plan at least one big trip yearly. I enjoy watching documentaries and learning new information about history and future trends.
