What is your cancellation policy?
Things happen, and sometimes, you must counsel, which is no problem. Please cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment. I will charge a cancellation fee for late cancellations, no-calls, and no-shows.
Can I do therapy in person or online?
Yes, you are welcome to do your therapy in person or online. If it is more convenient, you can even combine both.
What type of therapy do you provide?

What age range do you work with?
Although licensed and trained to work with people of all ages, I do my best work with individuals between 16 and 65.
What type of treatment modality do you use?
I try to match my treatment modality to fit the client’s needs. The treatment modalities I usually work from are Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and Family Systems.
Do I have to do anything outside of sessions?
No, you do not have to do anything you don’t want to do. At times, I will assign homework to help with the therapeutic process. Homework usually consists of journaling assignments, watching a video, or reading a book. Homework is never mandatory, but it can increase your success in therapy.
What if I do not like the treatment I am receiving?
It is possible that a therapeutic approach may not be for you. I welcome and encourage your input during our therapeutic journey together. We can change our approach if something is not working for you or you don’t feel comfortable. However, if for any reason you don’t feel comfortable with me, please let me know, and I will do everything I can to help you find another therapist that you feel more comfortable with. It is essential to me that you feel safe and relaxed during your therapeutic process.
Do I have to be on my best behavior therapy?
No, I want you to be yourself without fear of judgment. Feel free to curse or yell if that is who you are. My office is a safe place, to be honest with yourself and work towards your goals.
Do I have to dress professionally for sessions?

Not at all. Come as you are and wear clothes that make you feel comfortable. It’s okay if you want to wear pajamas. 😊
